Plastic of the Seas / Breathtaking Artwork Climate Change & life

All along my travel across Indonesia and their multiples stunning islands. I discover the beauty of nature in a way that would change my mind.
I got into fantastic adventures both underwater and in mainland. I found the most isolated locations, the kind that you need to get lost before you find them.
I saw the unbelievable nature taking over the fight against the plastics invasion. Sandals, tetra-packs, bottles, toys, tampax,…
Any kind of waste is now floating over seas, and now we start to here about this.
During three years I participate in all kind of activities. To learn about their culture and art.
At Bali Brothers Guest House we organize a series of events where the main character was the orphanage in town.
This Live Body Painting took place in October 2020. The local entrepreneurs will bring their products, the restaurant kitchen was rocking International Italian food. The Artist and cultural Centers participated, contributing to the fusion of art and environmental awareness. The event aimed to shed light on the environmental challenges facing the oceans, particularly the escalating issue of plastic pollution.

Over a span of three years, I immersed myself in various activities to better understand the local culture and artistry. At the heart of this exploration was Bali Brothers Guest House, where we orchestrated a series of events with a noble cause—the local orphanage. This Live Body Painting event, held in October 2020, became a powerful platform for raising awareness.
Entrepreneurs from the community showcased their sustainable products, and the restaurant’s kitchen reverberated with the preparation of International Italian delicacies. The collaboration extended beyond local businesses; cultural centers and artists actively participated, contributing their unique perspectives to the dialogue on environmental conservation.
“Plastic Sea” was more than just an event; it was a collective effort to merge artistic expression with a crucial message. By intertwining the visually striking medium of live body painting with the urgency of environmental conservation, we aimed to engage the community in a dialogue that transcended borders and cultures.
As we painted vibrant stories on living canvases, we hoped to inspire change, urging everyone to reconsider their relationship with single-use plastics. “Plastic Sea” stands as a testament to the power of art to catalyze environmental stewardship, reminding us that our actions, no matter how small, can collectively make waves of difference in the preservation of our precious oceans.
Made by Color – A full Experience

In a society bound by the constraints of modesty, “Chromatic Liberation” fearlessly confronts the apprehension surrounding nudity. The film delicately peels away the layers of discomfort and hesitation, exposing the raw canvas of the human form. As the narrative unfolds, it becomes a celebration of self-expression, breaking the shackles of societal norms.
Enter a realm where color becomes a language, and body painting emerges as the catalyst for profound metamorphosis. Each stroke of pigment is a brushstroke of courage, as the artists onscreen skillfully navigate the contours of the human body, transforming it into a living, breathing masterpiece.
This short film is not just a visual spectacle; it’s a philosophical exploration of breaking through societal constraints and embracing the true essence of oneself. “Made by Colors” beckons viewers to witness the beauty that lies beyond the fear, inviting them to partake in the joyous celebration of being human.

Tattoolegion a fascinating aesthetic of the power of belief

As the brush delicately traced the intricate patterns of religious symbols, the body transformed into a living canvas, harmonizing the visual languages of different faiths. The tattoos served as bridges, connecting the spiritual ethos of various traditions. This fusion of symbols became an embodiment of the inclusive values that underlie each religious practice—love, compassion, peace, and understanding.
This body painting project unfolded as a celebration of the shared human experience, transcending the boundaries that often separate cultures and belief systems. The tattoos, weaving together symbols from different religions, became a testament to the idea that at our core, we share common threads of humanity.
The body, adorned with these meaningful tattoos, became a living testament to the possibility of unity in diversity. The project sought to convey that, in essence, the values cherished by each religion are interconnected, forming a collective wisdom that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries.
In a world often marked by divisions, this body painting project emerged as a visual hymn to the shared values that bind humanity together. It celebrated the idea that, beyond the surface, we are all interconnected, and through the language of art, we can find a common ground that transcends religious, cultural, and ideological differences.

Oneirism in Bali – A dream experience in sunset time

The beach in Canggu, Bali, served as a poignant setting—a vast, open space that echoed the boundless spirit of the artistic expression taking place. The crashing waves and the soft sands bore witness to a moment of creative rebellion, a manifestation of the human spirit’s yearning for freedom and self-expression.
In the end, this body painting project transcended its artistic boundaries. It became a manifest of freedom and empowerment, not just for the model but for all those who encountered the evocative imagery. The waves, flowers, and the resilient model’s stance spoke to the universal human experience of facing challenges head-on, finding beauty in chaos, and embracing the power to shape our own narratives—even in the most uncertain of times.
The canvas for this extraordinary project was a courageous model, originally hailing from France, who steadfastly insisted on remaining at the location despite facing eviction by local authorities. Her determination became the catalyst for a breathtaking piece of art that would not only adorn her body but also symbolize resilience and the pursuit of personal freedom in the face of adversity.
The focal point of the body painting was a massive blue wave, meticulously crafted to splash over the model’s chest. This frontal depiction created a visual spectacle that mirrored the ebb and flow of life, an allegory for the challenges and triumphs experienced during a global lockdown. The blue wave, symbolizing the vastness of the ocean and the unpredictability of life’s currents, was a powerful metaphor for navigating the uncertainties of the times.
As the brush moved across the model’s skin, the blue wave was adorned with delicate flower patterns, tracing the contours of her body. The choice of flowers added a touch of nature and grace to the artwork, contrasting with the raw power of the depicted wave. The symbiosis of the wave and flowers conveyed a profound message—one of resilience and beauty emerging from the turbulence of the moment.
